The family and the US Marine Corps have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany this Hero from the mortuary in Fallbrook, CA to his hometown of Bakersfield, CA, it will be our honor to do so.
Sgt Tyler Tinsley, 24 yrs old, was stationed with the US Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton. Sadly, he was killed on his motorcycle near the base on the morning of September 30, 2016.
Sgt Tinsley is from Bakersfield, CA, he was initially taken to a mortuary in Fallbrook. We were asked to accompany him as he is taken home to his hometown and his family.
Sgt Tinsley is survived by his wife and young daughter.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the funeral home in Fallbrook to a meet up location in Frazier Park with riders from Bakersfield who will take the Hero on to the mortuary in Bakersfield, PGR is welcome to ride with the Bakersfield group. You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
