The family of Paul Ronald Mitchell has requested the Patriot Guard to pay Honors to this American Hero, It will be our Honor to do so.

This request has come in from Paul's Grandson Jeremy who is also in the Navy Reserves, he would like us to help the family get closure and pay the highest honors we can for this American Hero and his Grandpa.

Paul served in the Navy from Oct. 1960 to Nov. 1962. He was given an Honorable discharge for his service to his Country. During his time in the Navy he obtained the rank of ENFN ( Engineman) aboard the USS Piedmont.

After his time in the Navy, Paul employed in the automotive industry. He worked mainly in parts sales and became a sales manager. His total time in the industry before retirement was 45 yrs.

Paul's hobbies included motorcycle riding, he loved his motorcycle, fishing and hunting. He was an all around  old school country boy. He loved talking about old school Navy and couldn't be happier that his Grandson is carrying on the tradition.

He will be transported by his Grandson Jeremy on Paul's Harley for his final ride to Riverside National Cemetery, Paul will be laid to rest with his loving wife.

Paul is survived by his 3 step children, numerous Grandchildren, and Great Great Grandchildren.
