Aaron Sandler joined the United States Army in November of 1952 and received an honorable discharge in November of 1954. While in the service Aaron learned a lot about electronics, and found out that he was quite good at it. This career choice gave Aaron the means to teach Electronic Communications stateside. He always said that going in the Army was the best thing he could have done. It really "changed my life".

After discharge from the Army Aaron went back to school and graduated from Penn State.
He then went into aerospace for 30 yrs. During Aarons spare time he volunteered with the Los Angeles Sheriffs dept. and logged in 3 times the number of hours as anyone else. He did this for 20 yrs.
He also volunteered at the senior center, and the performing arts center.

Aaron was always considered a very quiet and shy person, but he loved being able to help people without all the notoriety.

Aaron is survived by his daughter, Sheri Sandler, and his sister Theda Picow, and numerous nieces, and nephews.

We will be there to honor this quiet man who did so much for both his family and the community.
