The Vaughan family and the US Army have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the funeral services for their Hero, SGT Tyler John Vaughan, 22, it will be our honor to do so.

SGT Tyler Vaughan was serving with the US Army in Germany when he sadly perished in an accident on March 18, 2017.  He joined the Army because he felt it was his duty to serve and was very proud of being a Soldier protecting the country he loved so much.

Tyler grew up in Visalia, CA and graduated from El Diamante High School in 2012.  He played baseball in High School for all four years.  He loved playing guitar, riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and working out at the gym.

He loved spending time with his family, his friends and his fiancee Alissa who he was planning to come home and marry in just a few short weeks.

Tyler is survived by his fiancee Alissa, his parents Todd and Kiersten Vaughan, his sister Valerie, brother-in-law Henry, paternal and maternal Grandparents and extended family and friends.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the church services to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
