The family of Bernard Samuel Gaudi 91, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend his funeral service and military honors, and it will be our honor to do so.
Bernard Samuel Gaudi enlisted in the US Marines in 1944 a served as a rifleman (745) and also as a crew man on a machine gun (604) until his honorable discharge in 1946. He was involved in the battle of Iwo Jima and was part of the occupation forces in Japan after their surrender.
Bernard loved being a Rancher and he loved to travel and take cruises.
Bernard is survived by his seven children Bernard Gaudi, Annette Williams, Rodger Gaudi, Vince Gaudi, Doug Gaudi, Janette Gaudi, and Paulette Gaudi. 16 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Note: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the church service to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
