The family of Kenneth Lee Filoso, PGR member, have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present for his memorial service. It will be our privilege to do so.
Ken was a recent addition to the Patriot Guard Riders family. At the mission for SSgt Cox in Ventura and Santa Paula a few weeks back, Ken stated “that was the most amazing experience of my life”.
About a week after that mission, Ken was headed home from the Ventura County Fair on his motorcycle, when he was side swiped by a car. Unfortunately, Ken never regained consciousness. He succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
Ken was born in Springfield, Missouri and was raised mostly in South Philadelphia before moving and settling in California.
Ken worked for various companies as a copier technician in Southern California and as an Umpire for various baseball leagues.
His hobbies included baseball, riding his Harley, photography, cooking, concert going and most of all, flying kites with his grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Ken is survived by two sons, seven stepchildren and 15 grandchildren.
Note: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this patriot PGR member.
