"On behalf of myself and our family, I would like to thank Angel, Joker, Bud, Gil, Beth, and the other PGR members who unselfishly gave of their time on Friday, August 11th, to escort Mike Young to Riverside National Cemetery for his services.
It was a most impressive experience for our family, one that we will never forget.
The Thunder, Roar in our Cul De Sac,
The flagline outside of our house,
The freeway escort to RNC,
The roadguards were awesome in their maneuvers to get us there safely,
The flagline at the entrance to RNC,
Than again the flagline at the shelter site,
Coordination of TAPS and the gun volley with the American Legion,
The presentation of the American Flag, and the USS Goldsborough plaque,
And the mission dog tags for our family.
Our family and friends were awed by it all, coming away with a much better understanding and appreciation for our Country's Veterans and what they have done and sacrificed to keep American great and FREE.
Our world would not be what it is if it weren't for the great men and women of our Armed Forces.
We are so very proud that Mike was a part of the PGR, this blessed brotherhood that gives our country's Veterans a final tribute of appreciation and Honor.
Thank you all for being a part of our family, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
PS, Thank you for the handcrafted one of a kind Navy pillow honoring Mike that was presented to Colleen. It is very much appreciated and will always be treasured."
