The family of William Lawrence Johnston, age 68, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their Hero for his military service, it will be our honor to do so.

William Johnston enlisted in the US Air Force in 1970 and served until 1974 when he was honorably discharged.

After the military, Mr Johnston worked in the hydraulic sales industry as Director of Sales for 45 years. He also had a passion for cars, especially sports cars, and automotive racing, racing his own Datsun 510 in the SCCA.  He was involved in racing for over 25 years.

William and his partner and love of his life Sandy also raised and worked with show dogs over the years, another pastime he enjoyed.

William is survived by his love of 35 years Sandy, stepsons Brent and Jeff, one grandchild, 3 brothers and other family members.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
