!! TIME CHANGES BELOW SEE NEW TIME TABLE !!Per request of Todd Memorial Chapel, Pomona, the family of Robert Lloyd Barth has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey.
It will be our honor to do so.
Robert was born on 13 February 1930 and entered Eternal Rest on 21 February 2018.
Following high school graduation Robert enlisted in the U.S. Navy serving during the Korean War from 1948 to 1952. Robert completed his basic training at Moffett Field, California. He attended Aviation Electronics training school in Memphis, Tennessee where he finished second in his class. Robert served seven months in Morocco during the Korean War Era. Upon his return home, he took leave to marry his high school sweetheart. Robert’s other duty stations included the Naval Station, Norfolk and Naval Air Station, Jacksonville. Robert was honorably discharged as an Avionics Technician, Airman (ATAN E-3).
After the military, Robert moved back to California and began his Civil Service career working for the Air Force at Norton Air Force Base and around the country using the electronics training he started in the Navy. He work for the Air Force for thirty-five years.
Robert is survived by one son and two daughters. He also leaves behind ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
His wife Melva passed away on 01 March 2018 and will be interred with Robert.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from Todd Memorial Chapel, Pomona to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
