The Patriot Guard Riders recognizes the importance of our Allied Forces throughout the world that fight along side our troops in every war. Without them we would not have the strength necessary to defeat the enemy. This Hero fought along side the United States of America during World War II, we are privileged to honor him for his service.
The family of MajGen Grigory Mazin has invited the PGR to honor their Hero for his service, we will be honored to do so.
MajGen Grigory Mazin, age 103, served in Russia's Red Army from 1938 to 1974 when he retired. The following are battles he fought in and awards he received: Finnish War, Great Patriotic War (WWII). Medals and awards: Knights of the Order of Lenin, medal for defense of Moscow, Knights of the Order of the Red Banner, Knights of the Order of the Red Star, Knights of the Order of the Patriotic War 1 and 2 degree, medal for the victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War (WWII), Ashkenazim Jewish Commander.
He helped to liberate Auschwitz, he shook hands with our American troops at the Elbe River and his engineers worked with ours to rebuild the damaged bridge. He always wanted Americans and Russians to drink vodka and laugh together again.
He moved to Los Angeles in 1999 to help his daughter when her husband passed. He then became a US citizen and lived out his retirement years here with his family.
MajGen Mazin is survived by his daughter Tatyana Loffe, Grand children Boris Loffe, Dr. Yevgeniya Loffe and Great Grandson Mikhail Loffe-Saldana

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
