The family of Lowell Alan Walker has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor the memory of their loved one and his service to our Country by standing a Flag Line at his celebration of life memorial service, to ride with him one last time to his eternal resting place at Desert Lawn Memorial Park and to again stand a Flag Line at his committal service. It will be our honor to do so.

Lowell was born in Syracuse, New York on 31 October 1943 and entered Eternal Rest on 26 March 2018 in Westminster.

Lowell was in the U.S. Navy from 1962 to 1966 during the Vietnam War, working as a Radarman. Some of Lowell’s awards/citations included the Navy Unit Commendation, the National Defense Service Medal and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Vietnam). Lowell was honorably discharged as a RD2 (Radarman Second Class E-5). Lowell’s last duty station was aboard the USS Harry E. Hubbard DD-748.

After his honorable discharge from the Navy, Lowell worked for National Cash Register (NCR) for over thirty-five years.

Some of Lowell’s favorite pastimes was going to softball games to watch his children and then his grandchildren play ball. He also enjoyed classic cars and would attend the Labor Day Cruise Car Show in Orange County.

Lowell is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Rita. He also leaves behind two sons, Lenny and Geoff, a daughter Jessica, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
