The family of Rodney Timbreza, U.S. Air Force Veteran, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany him from the mortuary located in San Bernardino to Riverside National Cemetery, where he will receive military honors, for his service to our nation. We would be privileged to do so.

Rodney Timbreza, was born November 8, 1951 and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force December, 1970 in Los Angeles.  After his service on active duty, Rodney entered the Air Force Reserve and was reactivated to active duty in January 1991.   He served from January 1991 until May 1991 in support of Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. He was honorably discharged May 1991 at the rank of Master Sergeant (E-7).
 
In his civilian life he was an assistant hospital administrator at the VA hospital in Loma Linda. He retired from civil service in 2014 with 40 years combined service.

His Hobbies included riding a motorcycle, bowling, camping, hunting, boating, and he enjoyed fishing from the piers in Southern California.

Surviving family members include his former wife, Linda Timbreza, daughter Jamie Wickam, son Jason Timbreza, sisters Trina Hulten, Annette Timbreza and 5 grandchildren.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the funeral services to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
