The family of Dario Gomez, US Army and Korean War Veteran, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor him for his service to our country. It would be our honor to do so.

Dario was a Korean War Veteran whose earned awards/citations included a Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Combat Badge and Good Conduct Medal. Upon completion of his service, he was honorably discharged as a Corporal. Dario retired from Hughes Aircraft where he worked for nineteen years as Marketing Art Director.

Dario is survived by his wife of sixty-three years Iris, daughter Melissa and son Mark. He also leaves behind five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

We will accompany this hero from the mortuary in Oceanside to Eternal Hills Memorial Park, a distance of approximately 4 miles.

For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the Mortuary to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.
