The family of Miguel Padilla has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this Hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Mike Padilla, 87, proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1950 to 1952.  He served in the 40th Infantry Division and reached the rank of Sergeant. He was awarded the following: Korean Service Medal, 1 Bronze Star, United Nations Service Medal, and the Combat Infantry Badge.

Mike loved Veteran organizations. He has been in the VFW for over 47 years as well as American Legion and Disabled American Veterans. He has held various positions at both the Post and District levels. Most recently he served as Chaplain in the La Verne Post “Band of Brothers”.

Mike is survived by his wife Connie, Sister Nora, 2 sons Michael and David, daughter Rebecca, along with 9 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
