The family of Glen Beye has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.

Glen Beye was born June 15, 1926 and was 91 years young at the time of his passing last December 3 2017. His Military Honors were intentionally delayed to allow Glen's grandson, Adrian’s son Nick, who is an Army Black Hawk pilot, to be present for his grandfather's Military Honors.

Glen served in the U.S. Navy from August 30, 1943 to June 10, 1947. His rank was Seaman First Class at the time of his honorable discharge from his military service. He served in WWII and was a Omaha Beach survivor. He received the American Area Medal, the African European 1 Star, the World War II Victory Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He was a member of our "Greatest Generation", WWII Heroes.

Glen drove a truck for 50 years after his military service and never had a single accident, he was very proud of that.

His surviving family includes his wife Doria, his 5 children Becky, Jessie, Adrian, Scott and Glendy, 7 Grand children, 7 Great Grand children and 2 Great Great Grand children.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. The temperature is expected to be extremely HOT in Riverside during the week. Please hydrate and respect the rules of the cemetery as we are guests at the Riverside National Cemetery.
