The family of Daniel “Dan” Schick, age 73, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor him for his military service; we are privileged to do so.

Daniel Schick enlisted into the United States Marine Corps in November 12, 1966. He was deployed to Vietnam at Dong Ha and served from November 1966 until September 1972. He went through Basic in Camp Jejune and returned from Vietnam where he was honorably discharged as a Corporal.

After his discharge, Dan worked for GTE which later became Verizon from 1974 until he retired as a technician in 2009. Daniel also had taken some courses at Notre Dame. His hobbies included Hiking, Fishing, camping, photography, he enjoyed browsing Flea Markets and watching TV.

Dan is survived by his wife Beverly, Son Andy, Daughter Amy, and one grandchild.

Dan passed away in July 17, 2018 from Agent Orange related illness. This is a COMBAT RELATED MISSION, there will be dog tags.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
