The family of David L. Bumb has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to accompany them on his final journey.
David proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1961 to 1968. David attained the rank of Sergeant prior to his Honorable Discharge.
Some of the medals awarded to David included three Purple Hearts for injuries sustained in Vietnam, the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/one star, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/Device, Good Conduct Medal, Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.
After the military, David worked as a cement truck driver for thirty-four years.
Some of David’s favorite pastimes included quading, fishing, camping, carpentry work and messing around in his garage.
David is survived by his wife Jeanne. He also leaves behind daughters Deidra and Dalene, sons-in-law Shawn and Bob and three grand-children.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
