This is Part 2 of a 2 part mission.

The family of Staff Sergeant Diobanjo Sanagustin has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor this hero for his service to his country.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Born in the Philippines, SSG Diobanjo Sanagustin, 32, joined the US Army in May 2007.  He was serving as a squad leader with Bravo Company, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division at the time of his passing.  In his 11-year Army career he had deployed to Kosovo, Iraq and most recently, Afghanistan.  He loved America and the freedom she provides, so he was very proud that in 2008 he became a naturalized US citizen.

For his service he was awarded two Army Commendation Medals and seven Army Achievement Medals.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying this hero from the church to Glen Abbey Cemetery. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.  For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
