The family of Matthew Paul Dempsky, 48, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor their Hero, it will be our honor to do so.
Matthew Dempsky enlisted in the US Marine Corps in 1989 and served until 1997, he then re-enlisted in 2004 and served through 2005 until his honorable discharge. He served two deployments in Iraq.
After the military Matthew still had a desire to serve and went to work for the San Diego County Sheriffs Department as a Deputy. He worked there for approximately 10 years, continuing to protect and serve the people.
He loved volunteering with search and rescue even before becoming a Deputy. Matthew also loved the outdoors which included hiking, biking, boating and fishing. He also loved being with his family, his wife and 10 yr old son.
