The family of Billy Wayne Hoxey Sr, 62, USAF, US, have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to Honor Their loved one.  We are honored to accept. 

Billy, served in the United States Air Force from 27 January 1977 to 31 January 1997. He was an Aerospace Ground Equipment Technician and contracting Craftsman that was stationed in Spain, Italy, North Carolina and Alaska. He played football in Spain and Italy. He also served in Operation Desert Storm.

The Medals he received were Southwest Asia Service Medal with 3 Bronze service stars, National Defense Service Medal with 1 Bronze star.

Billy was a Landscaping Business owner.

His Hobbies were Car Restoration,Djing, Grillmaster

He is divorced and his siblings are Green Andrew Hoxey, Cheryl Ann McCrory, Pauletta Dean McCrary, and Adolphus Lavada Hoxey Jr. who is deceased. His Children are Billy Jr., Lawrence, Brian, Brandon, Erick Hoxey, Latiena Bolen he also had 12 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. Please see the time table if you would like to participate.  We will meet the family at the mortuary and accompany them to Riverside National Cemetery.  For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
