The family of Charles O. Wilson, 92, has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the services of this American Hero. It will be our Honor to do so.
Charles O. Wilson served in the U.S. Army from June 1945 to January 1947 where he served in Korea for 11 months with the 4482nd Quartermaster Salvage Repair Company. Charles operated a electrically powered sewing machine and patched holes and repaired rips in the clothing. He maintained/repaired the machines when needed and he also supervised military personnel in the shop.
Charles is survived by his only daughter, Darlene E. Wilson-Marshall, 6 grandchildren, 26 Great-grandchildren, and 12 Great-Great grandchildren. He also leaves behind 2 sisters, Lydia and Rosalie and a host of nieces and nephews.
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Veteran. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying our hero and his family from the mortuary to his final resting place. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.
