It is with great sadness that I let our PGR Family know of the loss of Sharon Snelling Ruzek.

Sharon passed away on May 18, 2019 with her family at her side after an accident while assisting an investigation in Fallbrook. Sharon was a wonderful loving wife to Richard, awesome mother and a true friend to myself and other PGR members. Both herself and her husband Richard have been with the Patriot Guard Riders and Veterans Without Families for many, many years.

Sharon volunteered for 19 years as a Senior Volunteer Patrol Officer with the California Highway Patrol and was awarded the Senior Volunteer of the Year Award in 2016. Sharon was always there for those in need.

Sharon's motto in life was "Pay it Forward"!  And this she did!!

Please bring your flags and join us for Sharon's Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 27th at 1PM, El Camino Country Club 3202 Vista Way Oceanside, CA 92056.

Let’s all come out to show our appreciation to Sharon, a fellow PGR member, for her commitment to our fallen brothers and sisters.  There will be PGR attending from both San Diego and Riverside.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this PGR member.
