This is Part 2 of a Two-Part Mission

Part Two:


We have been invited by the family of CPL Cristobal Romo to accompany them and their Hero from the Mortuary to Riverside National Cemetery on Saturday, 22 MAR 14.

CPL Romo was with 4th Platoon, Co. L, 3rd Batt., 31st IR, 7th ID. CPL Romo went missing in action in North Korea while his Platoon was sent in to the east side of the Chosin Reservoir to relieve the 3/5 Marines. He was declared killed in action on 12 DEC 50, and was accounted for Jan. 13, 2014.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the mortuary to the Cemetery. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. Those of you who wish to go directly to the cemetery, please form a flag line at main gate at approx 1230.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.
