The family of Francis S. Bianchino, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in his final military honors. It will be our honor and privilege to do so.
Francis Bianchino was commissioned in the United States Navy on February 19, 1968. He was commissioned into the Chaplains Service. Francis was assigned to Marine Corps units in Vietnam and was award the National Defense Medal, Bronze Star Medal with Combat “V”, Republic of Vietnam Honor Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Vietnam Service Medal with Marine Corps Insignia and Vietnam Campaign Medal. At the time of his honorable discharge in 1974, he had attained the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
After separation from the US Navy, Francis taught at Moorpark College. He taught psychology for over 40 years and had been the head of the nursing and rad tech program before his retirement. Francis was an active parishioner at St. Maximillian Kolbe Church.
He is survived by his wife Gail, his daughter Lucia, his sister Barbara and a granddaughter.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
