It is an honor the family of Gonzalo Lizarraga invites the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in their loved ones funeral and military honors.

Gonzalo joined the Army 21 JUL 70 and proudly served two deployments in Vietnam as a Combat Infantryman.  Gonzalo received the Vietnam Service Medal with 2 Bronze Service Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Air Medal, Combat Infantry Badge and the National Defense Service Medal.  Gonzalo was honorably discharged 20 JUL 72 at the rank of SPC4.

After his discharge, Gonzalo worked for United Parcel Service (UPS) for 35 years, retiring in 2009.  He was a fanatical Raiders and Angel fan, enjoyed "oldies" and Mariachi music, and spending time with his family.
