The family of LCpl Lorenzo G. Mascarenas, age 21, and the US Marine Corps have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany him from the mortuary to the airport as he is sent home to his family for burial in Minnesota. We will be honored to do so.
LCpl Lorenzo G. Mascarenas, age 21 was from Minnesota and enlisted in the US Marine Corps in 2018, he was serving with his unit at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside when he unexpectedly passed away. He was very proud of being a Marine and had a bright future, this is a terrible loss to his family, to his friends, and to the Corps.
LCpl Mascarenas is survived by his family, his friends and his fellow Marines. He will not be forgotten. Semper Fi
NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all are welcome, we will be accompanying the Hero and his family from the mortuary to the airport approx 57 miles. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the American Airlines cargo area, we will meet you there.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
