The family of Leslie M. Andrews, 34, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor him for his military service. It is our honor to do so.
Leslie was born 11 April 1986 to Leslie Andrews Jr. and Janice Murray-Andrews. He is survived by his parents, sister, Lia Andrews, children Dayvion Andrews and Jacksen Andrews, and fiancé, Danyelle Munford.
His family has a history of service to the United States of America, (Mother -Airforce, Father-Army, and sister- Navy). His brother was an OEF Veteran who served in the US Army from 2004-2010. He was a combat engineer, whose unit (864th EN BN) was based out of Ft. Lewis, WA and deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan twice for a total of 2 years, 3 months and 24 days of foreign service at war.
Leslie’s service in the US Army was an accomplishment that he never took for granted and he loved his battle buddies dearly. Unfortunately he succumbed to his PTSD demons.
