The family of Daniel R. Lopez, 86, has invited the PGR to participate in honoring his life and service to his country. It will be a privilege to do so.

Daniel R. Lopez served in the United States Army from 1950-1953 during the Korean War.  Daniel was awarded the Korean War Campaign Medal, Combat Medal and the Purple Heart.  At the time of his honorable discharge he achieved the rank of Corporal.

Daniel is a proud member of the Patriot Guard Riders and loved honoring his fellow Veterans on Wednesday mornings during Veterans Without Family services at Riverside National Cemetery.  He was proud to stand tall for those that had no families left to honor them and after would visit his wife Anna who is interred at RNC. Daniel will be deeply missed by his fellow Brothers and Sisters of the PGR and even more by those that knew him through the Veterans Without Family services.

Daniel loved spending time with his wife Anna until her passing and also loved to tending to his garden.

Daniel is now reunited with beloved Anna Lopez and is survived by his brothers; Philip, Ronald and Daniel Jr. and will also be missed by Frankie Vaughn and Jim.
