The family of Petty Officer First Class John Charles Buzzard, U.S. Navy, Retired has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero for his service to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.

John was born on 30 July 1936 and entered into Eternal Rest on 12 September 2020

John joined the Navy on 05 July 1954 and retired on 10 November 1975. While serving in the Navy John was a part of the Vietnam war. John was involved in starting up the Navy's Drug and Alcohol Program (DAPA). He rose to the rank of Petty Officer First Class before retirement

John is survived by his wife of sixty-four years Clara, son John, and daughter Cathy. He also leaves behind five grandchildren.

Special Note: John was Santa Ken’s next-door neighbor for many years.
