The family of Timothy "Grouch" McLean have requested the Patriot Guard Riders to assist in paying Honors for their loved one. It will be our Honor to do so.
Timothy graduated from Charter Oak High School in 1975. Upon graduating Tim got ready to go and serve his Country in the United States Army.
Tim served with the US Army for 4 yrs from 1976 - 1980 and was Honorably Discharged at the rank of Sgt.
Tim loved to work on Harley Davidsons and soon became a mechanic on them. His hobbies was working on bikes and watching NASCAR. He also loved to relax outdoors, and spend time with all of his family and friends.
Tim was also a member of a motorcycle club and often helped working on their bikes as well.
Tim will be sorely missed by his family and all of his brothers and sisters of his MC that he loved to ride with.
Tim visited Arlington several times on a burial detail. He wrote an excerpt on what and how he felt.
Here are a few lines to remember:
"The price of freedom is very high, when people desecrate our colors, they disrespect and desecrate every soul who payed the ultimate price for freedom. God bless every soldier who has, or is willing to die for our right to freedom, Past, Present, and Future".
This Friday we will honor this soldiers view of our freedom!
Note: The time table is for most of the people in the LAC/ OC areas.
Due to the fires at this time one of our routes has already been closed. The RC is in close contact with Cal Fire getting constant updates as to which routes will be available as Friday gets closer.
