The family of Second class petty officer Robert Ibarra Tellez  has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero  for his service to his country.   It will be our privilege to do so.

Robert Tellez was inducted into the United States Navy on April 10, 1944 in Ontario California. He was stationed in the Navy Landing Force Equipment Depot in Norfolk, Virginia and at the NAS Weeksville in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. He obtained the WWII Victory Medal and many other medals not listed.

Mr. Tellez worked a number of jobs after the military. After moving to San Diego in 1953 he worked 20 years in construction as a laborer working on many buildings and on the 805 Freeway. After retiring from construction he worked 10 years as a San Diego school district employee transporting school lunches. Robert enjoyed watching Baseball and boxing. He also enjoyed painting and working on home projects.
