The family and the Los Angeles Sheriffs Dept have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to honor one of their Officers, we will be honored to do so.

Jamie John Arakawa, 53, was born on June 6, 1967 in Los Angeles, California to James Rusty Arakawa and Yolanda Mora, and entered into eternal rest on February 8, 2021 in San Dimas, California.

Jamie John Arakawa served proudly in the United States Marine Corps Reserves and dedicated over 25 years of community service as a Los Angeles County Sheriff with his last assignment being with the college bureau.

Jamie is survived by his loving family: Wife, Sandra, Children, Michael, James, Sophia, and Jessica, Grandchildren, Aiden, and Benjamin, and Mother, Yolanda Hackett, along with other family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Note: This notice is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this law enforcement officer.  For those interested and all PGR members are welcome, please see time table if you would like to participate.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed by the Rid Captain (R/C). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
