The family of Kenneth Towers has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their Hero for his service.  It will be our privilege to do so.

Kenneth Towers, 75, served his country in the United States Army for 2 years (1966 to 1968).  Ken served as a Flight Operations Coordinator during The Vietnam War. During his 2 years of honorable service Ken was awarded a Good Conduct Medal, The Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Medal, and Sharp Shooter ribbon. Ken was honorably discharged at the rank of SP4.

After his Army discharge, Ken worked for Pacific Southwest Airlines (PSA) in San Diego for 16 years.  Thereafter, he entered the Real Estate field and worked as a Residential Realtor for 36 years until his death.

Ken loved soccer and played for many years in a North County adult league.  He avidly followed his hometown English Premier League soccer team, the Liverpool Football Club (LFC).  He sponsored and/or coached many of his two sons' soccer teams and participated as a volunteer for their community football and baseball teams.  Being a sports fan, he enjoyed following the San Diego Padres, and Chargers until they left San Diego.  Also, he was very much a San Diego State Aztecs fan and in recent years attended the football games as a season ticket holder.

Ken is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marsha, his sons Timothy and Beau, and his sister Laura.
