The family of Capt Douglas Richardson, age 34, and the US Marine Corps have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany their Hero to the airport as he returns to his home state of Virginia for burial, we are honored to do so.
Captain Douglas L. Richardson was serving in the US Marine Corps as a Weapons Systems Officer onboard fighter jets, a comparison would be from the movie Top Gun, he was the same position as "Goose". Sadly, Capt Richardson fell ill with cancer and passed away on 08 April, 2021. Capt Richardson was highly regarded by all his fellow Marines, those above him in rank, and those below him in rank.
Capt Richardson is from King George, Virginia, and PGR in Virginia is standing by to receive this Hero and accompany to the funeral home and attend his services and military honors.
Capt Richardson is survived by his loving wife Amanda and his 2 daughters, Alexia, 10, and Hailey, 8, his father Michael and mother Susan and many other family members and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, and never forgotten.
