The family of GySgt Daniel Rendon, age 41, and the U.S. Marine Corps have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to accompany their Hero to the airport as he is flown home to San Jose for his burial and Military Honors. It will be our honor to do so.
GySgt Daniel Rendon was serving with the Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton, attached to the VMU4, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadron 4, when he was involved in a vehicle accident off base that sadly took his life. GySgt Rendon had served 22 years with the Corps and was in combat many times throughout those years. He was very proud to be a Marine and served proudly. All those that served with him, those above and those below in rank, have the upmost respect for him.
GySgt Rendon is survived by his wife, 3 children, his mother and siblings, and many other family members and friends. He was dearly loved, will be missed, and never forgotten by all those that knew him.
