The family of Alexander Lofgren has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend Military Honors for Alexander.  It is our honor to do so.

Alexander was born 03/20/1989 and died 04/04/2021.  He was 32 years old at the time of his passing.  He proudly served in the U. S. Army from 03/2011 to 09/2014 with deployment to Afghanistan during the GWOT.  He was awarded the Afghanistan Campaign Medal w/star, National Defense Service Medal, GWOT Service Medal, and the NATO Medal.  Alexander held the rank of SPC at the time of his honorable discharge.

For the past two years, Alexander worked with the Wounded Warrior Project as a constituent liaison through Congressman Raúl Grijalva's office in Arizona.  He also held a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Arizona State University.

Alexander loved camping and hiking and visiting our national parks.  He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family, friends, and his beloved dogs.  He was also a New Orleans Saint fan.

Alexander is survived by his Aunt Ruth and Uncle Joe Lofgren, who raised him from childhood; his mother Karen, and numerous aunts and uncles.  He was preceded in death by his brother Jason in 2020.  He leaves behind his girlfriend Emily and his three much loved dogs, Gunner, April, and Nora.
