Per request of Gabby Ramos, Murrieta Valley Funeral Home, the family of Henry Robert Redondo has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.

Henry was born on 24 May 1947 in Los Angeles, California, and entered into Eternal Rest on 10 June 2021.

Henry was inducted into the U.S. Army in 1965 serving during the Vietnam Conflict. Henry was a Light Weapons Infantryman. His numerous awards/citations included the Combat Infantry Badge, the National Defense Service Medal, Expert Rifle Badge, Vietnam Service Medal, and Vietnam Campaign Service Medal. Henry was honorably discharged as a PFC (E-3) from Fort MacArthur, California.

After the military, Henry worked for the State of California for eighteen years working with Veteran's organizations.

Henry loved to ride his Harley and rode with the PGR. He loved to go fishing on his boat and was a big Veteran supporter.

Henry passed away as a result of complications from Agent Orange.

Henry is survived by his wife Yvette and four children. He also leaves behind twelve grandchildren.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the church to his final resting place. Please see the timetable if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the cemetery, we will meet you there.

If you cannot accompany this Hero please consider meeting us at the entrance of the Cemetery with a flag line as the hero arrives.

NOTE: Please observe the latest “COVID-19” restrictions.

The weather is predicted to be hot so please stay hydrated and don't forget to eat; it can make a difference with your ability to withstand the heat.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
