The family of Hector Herrera Jr. has invited the Patriot Guard to be present as they honor their hero. We are honored to do so.

Hector was born on May 27th, 1960 and passed on August 31, 2021. He enlisted into the US Army in Sept.,1978 and received his honorable discharge in Aug, 1983 at the rank of Sgt. (E-5).

Hector was stationed at Ft. Riley, KS where he was trained in the operation of the HAWK Missile Systems. He also spent time in Germany. During his 4 year enlistment he earned the Army service ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon and Good Conduct Medal.

After his discharge Hector worked at various jobs until he settled in with Charter Communications where he spent the majority of his career. He was a huge football fan and could be found on Sundays watching games on TV. He enjoyed collecting as a hobby and was an avid fisherman.
