The family of CMSgt Alfred Michael Moller, 85, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.
Alfred joined the Marine Corps in 1954 when he was 17 years old. He spent 3 years in the Marine Corps Reserves. He then enlisted in the USAF in 1957, and went into the AF Reserves in 1964. He began working for the San Bernardino Sheriff as a Deputy in 1964, and quit to return to the Air Force in 1976 until he retired in 1985. He worked in security for the Air Force, working in South Dakota's Delta AFB on missle security; and he served in Turkey working with NATO Forces on national security. In 1961, he was a member of the Air Force Bob Sled Team when he was stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska. He attended the Lake Placid Winter Olympics 1961 as part of that team. He was stationed at George AFB when he retired. He earned the Air Force (AF) Good Conduct Medal (w/2 Oak Leaf Clusters), AF Ribbon, AF Longevity Service Award Ribbon (w/3 Oak Leaf Clusters), AF Service Long Tour Ribbon (w/1 Oak Leaf Cluster), AF Overseas Service Short Tour Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, Marine Corps National Defense Service Medal, and AF Outstanding Unit Award.
After his military service, Alfred worked at Edwards AFB on the B-2 Black Ops security for 13 years. He then went to work for the Daily Press as a courier. Alfred's main hobbies included riding motorcycles (Harley Davidsons) and collecting firearms. When he was younger, he was an avid scuba diver.
Alfred is survived by his wife, Sara; his sons, Paul and Glenn; his daughter, Lisa Guadin; and 9 grandchildren.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
