!!! 2nd UPDATE!!! STAGING CHANGE-SEE CORRECTED TIME TABLE BELOW !!!

Part 1 of 2 Parts

The family of LCpl Kareem Nikoui, 20, and the US Marine Corps have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the arrival as he returns home to So California for burial.  We are honored to do so.

LCpl Kareem Nikoui, age 20, was serving with the US Marine Corps in Afghanistan when he was sadly killed on August 26, 2021, along with 12 others at the airport in Kabul when a bomb exploded sadly killing all of them and injuring many others.  Nikoui was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, California.

Lance Corporal Nikoui died while carrying out a mission to rescue fellow U.S. citizens and our allies in grave danger. When his nation needed him, he answered the call without hesitation. As a proud Marine, Lance Corporal Nikoui and his unit put themselves in harms way in order to provide safety to others. That’s the definition of courage. That’s the embodiment of the Marine Corps motto, Semper Fidelis. Through his brave actions, Lance Corporal Nikoui remained faithful to his fellow Marines, his country, and our citizens.

Nikoui, was from Norco, and went to Norco High School where he distinguished himself as a member of ROTC and was baptized at Grace Fellowship Church.  The community of Norco has had several events in his honor since his passing.

LCpl Nikoui is survived by his parents and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly, he will never be forgotten.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this American Hero. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying the hero and his family from the airport to the mortuary, approx 14 miles. Please see the time table if you would like to participate. For those who would rather go directly to the mortuary, we will meet you there.
