Part 2 of 2 PartsThe family of SSG Angel Gerardo Green, age 24, and the US Army have invited the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the funeral of their Hero. We are honored to be there.
At the time of his passing SSG Green was serving with the US Army at Ft Drum, NY. Staff Sgt. Angel G. Green, 24, of Barstow, Calif, was an infantryman. He was assigned to 4th Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment (The Polar Bears), 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division.
He deployed with his unit to Afghanistan two times in support of Operation Freedom's Sentinel and to Qatar one time. He most recently returned from Afghanistan on Sept. 6.
SSG Green is survived by many family members, friends and his fellow Soldiers who will miss him greatly and will mourn his passing. He will never be forgotten.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
