The family and friends of Sgt Isaac Joel Armenta, 38, have requested the PGR be present for military honors as he is laid to rest. We are privileged to participate.

Isaac was born on 09/22/83 and lost his battle with mental health on the night of 09/19/21. Isaac was a devoted father that embraced family and patriotism for his country.

Isaac served with the US Army from April 2002 to May 2009, which included two tours in the Middle East (Irag and Kuwait).  He was also an airborne combat engineer.  He was honorably medically discharged at the rank of E-5.  Due to injuries obtained during his deployments, Isaac was a Purple Heart recipient.  He received several awards to include Army Commendation and Achievement Medals, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary and Service Medals, and several Army ribbons.

After his military life, Isaac worked at Tesla and then took a job as a mechanic for the City of Los Angeles and worked there until his passing.  He loved spending time with his children and supporting causes of anything related to veterans.  It was his honor to pay respect to those who served before him and his current brothers and sisters in arms.  He also enjoyed golfing, working on cars, home projects, and working with plants.

Isaac is survived by his loving wife, Jessica, and their three children: Jocelyn (13), Issac, Jr. (8 ), and Abel James (2).  He is also survived by many other family and friends and comrade in arms.
