The Patriot Guard has been invited to accompany the Disabled Heroes from the Veterans Hospital at Loma Linda, CA, to Lake Arrowhead for a day organized by the City of Lake Arrowhead and the Skyforest Elks in honor of our Disabled Heroes.   Two years ago, we had our first such accompaniment and it was very highly acclaimed by all who attended.   Hundreds of citizens with flags will line the street as we approach Lake Arrowhead and we will take the Warriors to a launch facility where they will be given a day on the lake fishing.   We will provide help loading them (some with walkers and wheelchairs) into the boats.  Then we will have time to shop at the mall, and take a ride (by bike) while they are fishing, around Lake Arrowhead to the UCLA Convention Center where we will help unload and load up our Heroes for an accompaniment to the Skyforest Elks Club, where a great Lunch is provided to all participants including the PGR.  We will then accompany them back to the VA Hospital in Loma Linda, CA.

NOTE: This posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring these Disabled Veteran Heroes. We will be accompanying these Heroes from the VA Hospital to Lake Arrowhead and back again, please see the time table if you would like to participate.
