The family of Jeffery James Sutch has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their Hero for his service to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.

Jeff Passed away at 51 years of age when the UPS semi-truck he was driving was in an accident and he did not survive.

Jeff joined the Air Force on March 6, 1990 & was honorably discharged on April 24, 1993. He rose to the rank of SRA E-4. He was a Tactical Aircraft Maintenance Specialist and worked on the F-16's. He wished so badly to have been able to stay in and make it a career, but due to circumstances of being a newly single sole parent of two young children, he was not able to make that career a reality.

Jeff rode a motorcycle and wanted to do something like the PGR when he retired.  He was a very proud man and was very proud to have been in the US Air Force serving his country. Jeff enjoyed riding his motorcycles, & spending time with his family. He was looking forward to his retirement in 2023.

Jeff is survived by his wife Barbara, his son Mathew, his son Timothy, & his daughter Summer Boone, & he had 7 grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother Nancy & 2 sisters, Jean & Jill.

NOTE: This mission posting facilitates your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will be accompanying our hero and his family from the mortuary to his final resting place, approx 16 miles.  Please see the timetable if you would like to participate. We will meet you there for those who would rather go directly to the cemetery.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this is your first mission, go to the initial staging area, and you will be briefed by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or wear casual attire while driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.

Remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent with honor and respect for our Heroes—no talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we honor.
