We have been invited by the friends of Robert "Bob" Turner, 69, to be present as he receives his military honors. We are privileged to do so.
Bob proudly served in the United States Navy from July 20, 1970 to April 16, 1980 and was honorably discharged as a Quartermaster (QM1).
During his employment years, Bob worked in accounting. He enjoyed movies and collecting coins.
Sadly, our Hero passed away with no known family members. He lived with his roommate, Rick Reese, for the past 20 years. Bob had several neighbors well known to them and they are his family. They wanted to make sure Bob was remembered and honored for his time served in the Navy and Vietnam.
