The PGR will honor Ten Unaccompanied Veterans by being at and participating in the Veterans’ Full Military Honors funeral ceremonies.
We will stand in for the families who can't be there.
A Flag Line will honor each Veteran as we show our appreciation and respect for their military service.
Today we will be honoring the following Ten American Heroes:
U.S. Navy, with the U.S. Navy Honor Guard
John Krupa DC1
James Bovet EM2
Robert Nolan STG2
Gordon Adams PM3
U.S. Army, with the U.S. Army Honor Guard
John Borawskie PV1
Charles Sutherland Sgt
Peggy Rodgers PV1
U. S. Marines, with the Marine Corps Honor Guard
Peter Semick PVT Vietnam Veteran
Richard Parks PVT
Raymond Ashely LCPL
May the souls of these Veterans rest in peace amongst their brothers and sisters that together served to help keep our Nation free.
They are not alone; we are their family.
We have invited the Marine Corps Band to join us. We have also notified the local media.
You are welcome to invite others to join us like VFW members, American Legion, ALR, etc.
We are expecting a huge crowd. I’m asking all PGR members to come to join us.
Partridge Creek Mortuary has asked us to accompany four caskets and six urns to Miramar National Cemetery from their Santee location.
If you wish to meet us at the cemetery, instead of the mortuary, we will be at the large committal at the end of the "Avenue of Flags".
NOTE: This mission posting facilitates your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran. For those interested, and all PGR members are welcome, we will accompany the Heroes from the mortuary to the cemetery, approximately twenty miles. Please see the timetable if you would like to participate. We will meet you there for those who would rather go directly to the cemetery.
NOTE: Please observe the latest "COVID-19" restrictions.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this is your first mission, go to the initial staging area, and you will be briefed by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or wear casual attire while driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
Remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent with honor and respect for our Heroes—no talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we honor.
