We have been invited by the family of Clark Kelly, DMV, 88, to attend the military honors of their loved one.  It will be our privilege to fulfill their request.

Dr. Kelly served in the United States Marines for a short period of time during the Korean War and then got accepted to Colorado State Veterinary School. After graduation from veterinary school he served in the United States Air Force during the Cuban missile crisis and the Bay of Pigs as a base veterinarian. He assisted his human physician officers with surgery which he enjoyed very much.

Dr. Kelly was a small animal veterinarian who owned and operated Boulevard Animal Clinic in San Diego for nearly 60 years. His clients adored and loved him and he took care of 4 generations of pets. He served the community of San Diego with love and pride. He was a compassionate and loving man who has left a legacy to the people and their pets of San Diego. He loved being a veterinarian and he also loved the profession as a whole. He was a loving husband and father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Elsie Kelly, his daughters Dr. Karen Kelly, also a veterinarian and grandchildren, Kate, Alexander and Eric and brother in law Dr. Frank Mangano and brother Dr. Monte Kelly also a San Diego veterinarian.
