The family of Arthur Zambrano Castillo, Jr., 75, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey. It will be our honor to do so.

Arthur served during the Vietnam War during the Siege of Kheh San in 1967 - 1968.  He was wounded twice in combat and is a Purple Heart Recipient.  He earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal and Rifle Marksman Badge.  Arthur was Honorably Discharged as a Corporal.

After his military service, Arthur was a truck driver (owner/operator).  He was also an American Legion Member and rode with the PGR for many years as a volunteer, although he was not an official member.  It was his passion to honor other veterans, especially Marines!  He loved riding his motorcycle and sports of all types. He was a true sportsman and played softball and was a pitcher. He later coached in the tournament softball circuit.  He played racquetball and golf.  He loved following college football and was a diehard USC fan.

Arthur is survived by his spouse, Martie Caudillo, children Rosanna and Judy, 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by siblings Ron, Stephanie, Caroline and Steven.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. All PGR members are welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission go to the initial staging area and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain).  Dress for motorcycle riding or dress casually if you are driving a cage (car).  Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can.  Please ride/drive safely.

Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent, and with honor and respect for our Heroes. No talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum. Observe the 15 MPH speed limit. Remember, cemeteries are hallowed ground. Show respect to all who are there, not just the ones we are honoring.
