The family of Larry Joseph Dore, age 79, has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to be present to honor their hero for his service to his country. It will be our privilege to do so.

Larry Dore served proudly in the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. Time spent as an Engineman stationed onboard the SS-246 Croaker, a diesel-electric submarine.  He was honorably discharged after completion of his enlistment just before the ramp up for Vietnam.

After the military Larry always worked hard, his last job prior to retirement was with Western Fire Protection, a company who made sprinkler systems for homes.  Larry loved his family, his 4 sons, 3 of which were his stepsons and he loved them all equally.  Larry & his wife loved to go on cruises and have many wonderful memories of them all.

Larry is survived by his loving wife Clara, sons Joseph Olah, Peter Olah, Thomas Olah and James Dore, 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

NOTE: This mission posting is to facilitate your voluntary participation in honoring this Military Veteran.
