The family of John Felix has invited the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) to attend the Military Honors of their loved one as he makes his final journey.
It will be our honor to do so.
John was born in Zacatecas, Mexico on 27 May 1955 and entered Eternal Rest on 17 November 2022 in Montebello.
John was enlisted in the Marine Corps and served for fifteen years. His tours of duty included duty in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm. His MOSs included Infantry Unit Leader and Drill Instructor. His awards/citations included the National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal (5th Award), the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (w/4 stars), the Rifle Badge (7th award) and the Pistol Expert Badge. John. At his honorable discharge as a Staff Sergeant (E-6), John was at MCB, Gulfport, Mississippi.
After the military, John worked in the Elevator Trade for twenty-five years.
John was also a servant of God, serving as a Eucharistic Minister on Sundays at St. Alphonsus Church for many years.
John was a proud Veteran active in the Marine Corps League, American Legion, and VFW.
John is survived by his wife Blanca and his children John, Martin, Veronica, Dominic, Joseph, Sandra and Erick. He also leaves behind eleven grandchildren.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a motorcycle rider to attend this mission. Everyone is welcome. We encourage those who do not ride to attend in your car. If this will be your first mission, go to the initial staging area, and you will be briefed there by the R/C (Ride Captain). Dress for motorcycle riding or wear casual attire if you are driving a cage (car). Please feel free to attend any portion of this mission you can. Please ride/drive safely.
Please remember that our mission is to stand tall and silent with honor and respect for our Heroes—no talking, smoking, or cell phone use during the flag line or service. Please keep radios off and engine noise to a minimum.
